Vliot is among a growing number of electronic music groups dabbling in complex, heavily hybridized forms of music that include everything from Electronic, Ambient, Idm, to Post-rock, Nu-Jazz, and Funk.

Vliot is the performing pseudonym of Fabian Wilkins, composer / producer / multi-instrumentalist artist from Puerto Rico who plays drums, guitar, synths, programs beats, and engineers sound designs.

Fabian is one of Puerto Rico’s most prolifically creative musicians, as a solo artist as well as a part of the underground music scene. The talented musician started getting seriously involved with music in 1998 when he was studying the recording arts at Full Sail. He later joined the indie circuit in the early 2000.

A wide gamma of talented musicians have collaborated in Vliot’s four albums, bringing a variety of styles that range from electro-acoustic, free improvisation and musique concrete for sound-art installations in galleries and other venues.

Vliot is very respected in the music and art scene in Puerto Rico. They are well known  for incorporating techniques and textures that characterize minimalist music and electronica, which meant both the layering of electronic and acoustic sounds and the electronic manipulation of their acoustic instruments, whether live in real time or in recording studio post-production.
